Linking songwriter pages, and linking to artist pages.

Ideas

I know a few solo acts who write under their real first and last name, and sometimes may get credited under their full name.

Not sure if it would be possible to link different songwriter pages together, similar to how Genius allows you to give an artist an AKA to some acts.

Like MJ is Michael Jackson, Michael J Jackson or Michael Joseph Jackson

Or link songwriter pages (which I know are still in beta) to their appropriate artist Or song?

    Hi @Alexander Marques, yes I see the challenge. I agree with your observation.

    The Songwriter data, from the upstream sources, can be quite messy and it's a challenge to match them and combine them. We will be investing in this feature down the line but for now we are not actively investing Songwriter data.

      What if the changes were made by verified teams or people? Like if MJ’s estate wanted to go in?

      Or on a much smaller scale, an independent artist or their team could verify they are/theyre associated with an artist or songwriter….or a track page that a songwriter wants to add to their page must be reasonably listed on the tracks page as a songwriter.

      I can’t add a Beyoncé song to my songwriter page if any variation of my name isn’t Beyoncé Knowles 😂
